A surprising ding from Minnesota today - YP maybe? Or something rubbed them the wrong way. 1-1-1 so far on my applications. Good luck to those of you still waiting. . .

Did you include any "Why MN" component in your PS? They ask for it in their PS prompt, and if someone with your numbers and no ties to the area didn't include it... I would guess YP.

And if you did include it... I still might guess YP. Those are some solid numbers. I bet you have a great cycle ahead of you, so I wouldn't worry about it too much...

I did do a why MN. I learned about the school working on class project that used materials from their Human Rights Center. I focused on that. I also had a targeted LOR from an former professor at their law school who now teaches in CA. Oh well. . .

I am in at Wash U so far so things could be a lot worse.

Wow, that is surprising. Nice to have that Wash U acceptance in hand, though. And at least you know you won't be freezing your ass off next year. Good luck with the rest of your cycle!

yea, again i have the same gpa and an lsat 2 points lower. my PS did not really target Minnesota. I feel like I should have been at least a WL. I'm a little confused about it but I do have some amazing offers in hand and don't think I could handle the cold anyway.

Anyway, I applied around the same time as him and I got my decision by email on Wednesday afternoon.

I think its 3 status changes before you get a decision.

Mine went like this :

Complete 1/5
Under Review- 1/26-1/29/2-11

Got my decision (waitlist) an hour after my last status change.
