I've been trolling this site for a long time, but to increase the data set:

In ED 166/3.86. Received call yesterday (Wednesday) morning at work from Bayrex Marti, Associate Dean of Admissions. Wrote Five Year Plan/Why Penn? and Literature supplementary essays. Not on LSN.

QUESTION:

I submitted my application last week (late, I know) SUPPLEMENTAL ESSAYS BE DAMNED!

The status is "processing" and there are empty boxes next to personal statement, supplmental, resume, etc... but it is registering that it recieved my transcript, LORs, and LSAC report. Anyone else have this happen or should I be worried and get on the phone to the Admissions office.

Please help!

Dont worry. I submitted 11/18 and those boxes werent checked until I went complete on 12/08.

not to sound too self-confident, i know i won't get rejected (im basing my opinion here on the proximity to many admits this year in terms of their numbers). So, I am gonna go out and say its the third option. Adcomms looking right now to see what to do with "close, yet we are not sure we like 'em enough" group...
