I think you might be correct.

And by think I mean that I hope, pray, and desperately cling to the dream of this happening.

Alright.

We'll leave you tied to the horses until 7pm PST tomorrow evening. But barring a confirmed surge of calls by that time, the sword drops.

+1. This is the key word. "Movement" isn't good enough at this point. If fewer than 5 people are accepted, you still get your appendages ripped off and we leave you to die in torturous agony. A "wave" or "surge" is the only thing that counts at this point.

To be fair, I'm just using a previously posted picture with one slight modification. All in good sport.

Here is to hoping that the Berkeley cycle is off to a running start tomorrow.

Seconded. I have a slight suspicion that our friend's prophecy might hold at least a few drops of water, although I hesitate to say anything at all relevant to the future in this bloodthirsty thread.

However, we should remember that the majority of decisions don't happen until after Dean Tom refers the middle (and largest) sector of files to his colleagues in the Committee. For many of us, therefore, a much longer wait still lies ahead.

DMan is definitely a new acceptance... I was looking at his stats (he's got 168/3.88) last weekend bc they are similar to mine.

The account was just created today, and the person says they received a call at 6am. Suspicious...

No, I promise you, DMan was there before. If you look on his page, Zaichka congratulated him on Berkeley on Nov. 19. It wasn't up on the graph on Nov. 19, but it was a couple days later.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
