Lol wow! That's the problem with all the mail that comes from CRS. Some of the adverts are really fancy and GT's letter is relatively smalllaqueredup wrote:Just got the asw email " congratulating me again". the acceptance letter must have been thrown out with the junk mail lol.

In via letter dated 12/5! Submitted 11/26, no interview.
LSAT = 50th, GPA > 75th.
I was really impressed with how quick the turnaround was. It's also my first T14 acceptance and one of my top choices, so I'm pretty excited

Unfortunately probably won't be able to make it to either. If I do get the chance to go it'll be the one in March though. I'd like to try and get some scholarship information before I commit to going.taxman14 wrote:You planning on going to this one or the one in March?PDX4343 wrote:Also just got the ASW email.
By the way, anybody know if Georgetown offers travel stipends?

So after filling out FAFSA we just wait for further instruction from the schools for now?govlife wrote:According to this, there's no more Need Access. I think most schools are going with CSS Profile, but Georgetown's Fin Aid site still says the application information for 2017-2018 will be up soon. http://www.needaccess.org/Students/Student.aspxThelaw23 wrote:When are we supposed to fill out the need access application? I filled out my FAFSA already.
Don't want to miss any deadlines :O
The scholarships rolled in like early March last year though. And then students had literally like two weeks to put down a deposit.

That's so fucked. No way they let you push back if you're waiting to hear back from other places?Thelaw23 wrote:So after filling out FAFSA we just wait for further instruction from the schools for now?govlife wrote:According to this, there's no more Need Access. Also, they said that they don't provide reimbursements for traveling there for the ASWs which is ass. I'm not sure that I'll be going to be honest. Their way of compensating for that is by having us room with other students lol. Not sure that the rest of my family would be able to join for that though haha.

Re: Georgetown Law School c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
Looks like we wait for now, at least at Georgetown. I bet the scholarship timeline is about the same as last year, since the application isn't due until mid-March. But, it looks like our first deposit isn't due until May 1, and putting down the deposit doesn't preclude you from ultimately choosing elsewhere.Thelaw23 wrote:So after filling out FAFSA we just wait for further instruction from the schools for now?govlife wrote:According to this, there's no more Need Access. Yeah, there's no way I'll make it to either Open House. It's just not feasible unless you live fairly close.taxman14 wrote:That's so fucked.
