Based on last year's thread, it looks like at least one more wave of offers went out the week following the initial wave. Hoping to get an offer this week .laqueredup wrote:Didn't get an offer at all.. I guess they rightly assumed I intended to use GI Bill anyway..

For people who are starting the negotiation process, did you mention other offers in your initial email or did you just email saying that you wanted to discuss the possibility of increasing your scholarship?

I've gotten three or four non-scholarship-related emails from Dean Schwartz since scholarships started being awarded. I'm almost completely dead inside now.

+1. After hearing all these people posting their offers and getting the Entertainment symposium email instead, I died a little inside too.PDX4343 wrote:I've gotten three or four non-scholarship-related emails from Dean Schwartz since scholarships started being awarded. just asked if they were amenable. they came back asking for offers. you might as well include offers to save time.

For those of you that have gotten scholarships already, are you able to view them online anywhere? Wondering if checking LawNet or My.UCLA for updates is worthwhile.

For those that got both need-based and merit-based scholarships, did the offers come in separate emails?

It looks like I'm a finalist for the Achievement Fellowship. Does anyone know if the interview is in person or over skype? I can't find an immediate answer, and I think this is the first year they're doing this so there's not any precedent to look to.

Same - selected as a finalist as well. They say "a small number" of students are selected, so I'm wondering what the number is.calpolisci2016 wrote:It looks like I'm a finalist for the Achievement Fellowship. Yuuup haha, they let me know that my whole offer at the moment is just the need-based grant (which is admittedly pretty cool so I'm not too bitter).ssolli wrote:doneonedone wrote:Just got that big fat $0 scholarship offer. DamnDid they actually contact you to say you weren't getting anything?

FWIW, my award email got lost on its way over to me and they ended up having to resend it to me. If you haven't heard anything yet, you might want to reach out to see if something similar has happened.

Withdrew my application and, hopefully, freed up some space for folks who are willing to attend paying sticker
.
Was offered nothing v. six-figure scholly at top 10 when I first withdrew. They replied my email of withdrawal saying that they were still willing to "consider me for a scholarship." Tho I insisted my withdrawal anyway, I believe for those who were offered nothing def contact them. They are very open for scholly negotiation.
