Has anyone else been waiting a long time on scholarship info? Accepted very beginning of November.

I've been waiting since my mid November acceptance. Do you have decent stats? Any guess as to why we haven't been offered $$$ while others have?

LSAT just below median and GPA>>75th. According to Mylsn my numbers get a solid amount of scholarship money but their lsat has gone up so I'm assuming I won't get as much as what's on Mylsn. I'm thinking they are trying really hard to keep their lsat high so they are focusing on those with median or above lsat scores. just a guess tho. I emailed the admissions team a while back and they said they couldn't give me a timeline but made it pretty clear I should expect to get something decent.

You should get something. 163/3.92 here - got 38k/year or 114k total.

I just hope it comes soon so I can start negotiations if it's not high enough to make attending a viable option.

Haha I'm flattered. When I first started applying to places I didn't expect to get in everywhere so now I'm a bit overwhelmed with the number of options. This scholarship is hard to pass up though since I want to do child advocacy and not something that pays a lot.

No worries, I'm on the completely same boat. I'll look at it as a good problem, though! #privilegedproblems
It's still super early to be making decisions, but that Full Ride from Wash U is an amazing starting point/fall-back plan!

No... but stuffs gone? Oh well. I'm on the very end of those green dots on the current cycle LSN graph so hopefully I could ride out the waitlist for a bit if I get on it.

+1000. Still waiting for my WUSTL interview next week BUT Vandy is definitely a reach as well and I'm going to believe that my personal statement and interview were the keys ...since my numbers definitely weren't haha

At least I got a chance! Will ride this out with a killer LOCI, maybe.

Hey guys! So, I got a scholarship that I am really happy with. 50k per year w/ no conditions. My question is, since tuition is more like 53-54 per year, is it worth negotiating for more? I don't want to seem greedy. I'm just worried that costs w/ books and fees will add up.

So I actually did a phone interview in october before I applied (late november). They never offered me another interview.

Still haven't even gotten my admissions packet in the mail but now I'm excited to get a shirt. I like t-shirts more than I like most people.

quite literally yes hahaha. my interviewer was awesome. tbh i felt happy/excited afterward, so yea honestly, just be genuine and try to enjoy it

It's really laid back. Mine was more of a conversation than an interview.
The questions I remember are:
-Why Wash U/STL
-Why law
-Tell me about your campaign work (my resume is all political campaigns - if you have extensive experience in a certain area, you'll probably be asked about it)
-What do you think you can bring to the university
-What do you enjoy doing for fun
-She asked something about my personal statement but I don't remember
-A few other questions that I don't recall but it was very conversational

I think what helped me get such a large scholarship despite my mediocre LSAT score is that I really drove home the fact that I want to live in St. Louis after graduation due to my family being nearby and therefore Wash U is my first choice. It's a fallback plan for so many people that I think they really like to hear about students who WANT to go there, and aren't just applying for scholarship negotiation purposes or as a backup plan. Even if it isn't your first choice, I would talk about how much you love the school and city. It definitely helped me, in my opinion.

Just be genuine and enjoy yourself! All the adcomms are extremely laid back and easy to talk to.
