I think so, yes, but it is not assumed that i) if you went UR2 at 12/5 you will hear back in the next wave; ii) if you were UR2 prior to that you will or will not hear back in the next wave; or iii) if you have not gone UR2 you will not hear back in the next wave.hammy393 wrote:It is assumed that most people who get decisions from the upcoming wave will be admitted?

I'm KJD, above both 75ths, and have been UR1 since early October. Still in "wait and see" mode.

The earliest rejection on lsn last year was 2/1. The previous year it was 1/21. We can make some assumptions. side note: I really wish people were more diligent in maintaining their lsn profiles!Keilz wrote:nothing is assumed in the world of law school admissionshammy393 wrote:It is assumed that most people who get decisions from the upcoming wave will be admitted?

The fact that there are so many people above 75ths and at medians that seem to have not heard back yet brings me hope.
I think I started to realize that there's no pattern with this thing. You just can't figure it out. No point of reading the tea leaves. The first two waves were hard on me, especially considering how much I want to stay in New York, but at this point I'm just going to wait patiently without thinking too much.

You probably could NYC is scary expensive as is though so it could be a little risky if you've been accepted elsewhere.Keilz wrote:can I convert to early decision? lol just a thought

Re: NYU c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
I think staying busy helps a lot. When I'm not busy I turn into a neurotic, anxious applicant who keeps refreshing status checkers all fucking day. But when I get busy I'm more at peace w the fact that it's somewhat random and we'll know when we know. So there's my 2 cents. And I feel the same way you do, in terms of wanting to stay where you're from, with Cali schools, and their deafening silence lol.. But it is what it is. Good luck!Thelaw23 wrote:The fact that there are so many people above 75ths and at medians that seem to have not heard back yet brings me hope.

Now that you're in the inside, you need to have a talk with them admissions and how they are treating your boy out here

That's 100% true. Still doesn't help from all the dreams/nightmares I have about schools. Damn you subconscious!!Assasindowntheavenue wrote:I think staying busy helps a lot. Guys, I found out yesterday that I'm actually eligible to apply for AnBryce and I always thought that I wasn't. I'm going to write the essay this week but the essay prompt exactly describes my PS so I'm gonna have to be creative.

Can you apply for AnBryce after you've already been accepted? (unless I'm remembering wrong and you weren't one of the DLS peeps from last week's waveBaby Gaga wrote:Guys, I found out yesterday that I'm actually eligible to apply for AnBryce and I always thought that I wasn't. Yup, I emailed them and they said it was ok, and they sent me the documents to sign. (You remember right!addie1412 wrote:Can you apply for AnBryce after you've already been accepted? Hasn't it happened between 9:30-10:30 the last few waves? Idk; I know they call people, so it seems like they'd want to get an early start.Assasindowntheavenue wrote:Why do you think there won't be?BrittanyJeream wrote:I was really hoping for a wave today
