Woke up to the acceptance email, literally jumped out of bed like a crazy person

!!!!!

A big thank you to Wahrheit for all the calming and reassuring posts; I was lurking pretty hard before now but they definitely helped at least me :lol:

So we are automatically added to the waitlist, correct? We don't have to submit an email or indicate by a certain date like Penn (besides an additional essay for Chicago)?

Congratulations to all the new admits! Savor the moment of being in the first RD acceptance wave for one of the best lawl schools in the country :D

Sorry to hear about the WLs/dings. Keep your head up though. The poster who reported a UChi WL followed shortly by a Stanford acceptance is proof positive that things can and do turn out alright!

Thank God you mentioned this!! Same thing happened to me and at first I was super bummed to not see an email. Check your promotions tab Gmail people!
