I'm FR2, GPA below 25th and LSAT between 50th and 75th. Re-took LSAT on Saturday for higher score and felt good about it. Is there any reason I SHOULDN'T tell Berkeley to wait on that score before they decide? Only downside seems to be finding out after 2/27 since scores don't get released until early March. This seems like a no-brainer, but just covering all of my bases.

I'd definitely ask them to wait in your case. They specifically told me that they don't re-review applications because of new scores, and you 100% know that they will render a decision before scores come out if you don't ask for a hold. I really can't imagine asking for them to wait to decide for a week would have any adverse effect on your chances.

I think it's still early! Back in November, it took me about 2 weeks for my application to go complete.

I got my notice that they received my application w/instructions about how to access the status checker in one day, and notice that my application was complete in about seven days. If you've heard literally *nothing*, I would contact them.

Ding via email last week. I will never understand their admissions logic - California student, above both medians, strong enough softs to get me an admit everywhere else Harvard down. Congrats to all who got in; I thought it would be one of my lower cost options and was definitely considering attending.

How was 2/6 determined for the last wave? Sounded like Berkeley made that statement, but where? Was it just from comparison to last year's forums?

I believe it's because that was the date given via email to the first faculty review group. I'm in FR2, and the email from Friday said decisions would be "on or around February 27."
