The sad thing is I've been coming to these forums probably longer than any of y'all. Since 2005/2006.
Still not at 100. But to be fair I have an old acct circa 2010 that has 180 posts.

So what schools are known to be (outside of the T14) useful for leveraging offers with the T14?

(please do not quote tiy)
is mylsn.info credited for chances? It says that it gets data from lawschoolnumbers but there are some applicants whose lsat/gpa combo does not show in mylsn.info for the schools they got accepted to. Why http://lawschoolnumbers.com/Mort_the_Tort does not show in H acceptance?

Does anybody know if schools are all going to ask us to disclose our driving records in the C+F section? I live abroad currently so there's no way for me to get to a DMV and get ahold of the details of the handful of speeding tickets I've racked up over the years... and if the answer is yes, what should I do?

I can't imagine they would, unless it was relevant to like a DUI or something.mccllln2 wrote:Does anybody know if schools are all going to ask us to disclose our driving records in the C+F section? They essentially all say "disclose blah blah blah EXCEPT FOR MINOR TRAFFIC INFRACTIONS SUCH AS SPEEDING AND MOVING VIOLATIONS"middlebear wrote:I can't imagine they would, unless it was relevant to like a DUI or something.mccllln2 wrote:Does anybody know if schools are all going to ask us to disclose our driving records in the C+F section? So, nope!

Okay thanks that's good to hear, the only reason I ask is because I was filling out the app for Emory and they want all citations other than parking tickets disclosed which seems kind of ridiculous.middlebear wrote:I can't imagine they would, unless it was relevant to like a DUI or something.mccllln2 wrote:Does anybody know if schools are all going to ask us to disclose our driving records in the C+F section? This may have changed, but my Columbia and NYU apps definitely said "except for minor parking violations" instead of "traffic violations," so I sent in an addendum to explain one speeding ticket. Thoughts, Mike?MikeSpivey wrote:They essentially all say "disclose blah blah blah EXCEPT FOR MINOR TRAFFIC INTRACTIONS SUCH AS SPEEDING AND MOVING VIOLATIONS"middlebear wrote:I can't imagine they would, unless it was relevant to like a DUI or something.mccllln2 wrote:Does anybody know if schools are all going to ask us to disclose our driving records in the C+F section? So, nope!
And I think there's a TLSer on here who couldn't track down all of his speeding tickets so he basically said, "yeah, I had a lot of speeding tickets."

I guess some do "minor parking" good call.Lavitz wrote:This may have changed, but my Columbia and NYU apps definitely said "except for minor parking violations" instead of "traffic violations," so I sent in an addendum to explain one speeding ticket. But it's really a non-issue either way. Unless you live your life like Conan O'Brien plays Grand Theft Auto ( http://splitsider.com/2013/09/watch-con ... 0-minutes/) no law school will care about speeding tickets, and likely any excuse as far as "I am living abroad but I have 3 from 2012-1014" will assuage even the Dean Wormer of admissions.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
