Can we speculate about the JS2 timeline here? I'm talkin' that awesome speculation that's not grounded in any sort of reality. That's what I want right now!
They have been saying that decisions won't come until late May early June - do we believe them??

No. I had my money on this week (obviously I don't anymore). But next best bet is next week.

Are there any people with JS1s next week?

This is the first I've heard early June! My bet is the end of the week of the 13th. That gives them enough time to analyze the waitlist and interview the rest of the JS1s.

Not a crazy thought at all. Someone I know who deferred last year was added this week.

During my interview I was told after April 30th/May1st nothing else. So honestly people could hear back from now until the start of school...this is the first I'm hearing early June. I think they are really going to try and get the class filled as soon as possible.

In my interview I was told I wouldn't hear for at least two weeks. So i'm saying the week of the 20th. That also matches what someone said earlier was the last interview slots

Sounds like they are giving different answers to everybody. Therefore, based on the information I received personally, I have concluded that I will receive my JS2 next week.

I was just told I wouldn't hear before May 1st. I feel like there's some LSAT logic here, but I forgot how that works.

Today they told you that you would not have an answer prior to two days ago?

Nah back in mid April. I meant "just" as in "only". Long day.

In the interest of speculation that draws so many of us to TLS, what do we make of the fact that Harvard's website says
"The 1L Sections program implemented in 2001 reduced the 1L class size to 7 sections of 80 students each."
That would be 560 students and yet the Facebook group still only shows 495. Is there any reason to believe the fbook group is not representative of total class size? I tend to believe it must be pretty much accurate because it is administrated by H admissions but I'm also known for being an optimistic person.

FB Group # is not accurate. I have 5 "friends" in the group and I personally know that two of them won't be attending HLS.

You're right about the class size being ~550, however you have to remember that to fill a class size of 550 HLS actually admits ~900 people. So, the fb group being 495 doesn't necessarily mean that here are 50+ spots open (although it could.) A more interesting figure is to compare the fb size as of today to the fb size as of last year and then see how many WL-> js2's were given.
I don't have that data.
I'm really tired at work so if I misread your post or used wrong figures please forgive me.

I don't have any 'friends' in the group but after clicking through people in that group I noticed at least a few will be attending SLS but haven't left the group.

I don't think being in a fb group is indicative of anything and I think TLS should stop being neurotic about that particular figure.

Thank you for tempering my optimism. You raise a really good point about how this information could be more useful if we had that additional data. Unfortunately after a long drawn-out search I've come to the conclusion that we are the first TLS cycle to take an interest in reporting the size of the facebook group around the deposit time. So while it will keep us wondering, as least next year's applicants might have a better way to speculate if they refer to this thread.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
