I was complete 1/16 and have been under 1st review since 1/25. I'm surprised I went under review relatively quickly based on how slow they seemed from this thread.

Just got an email directing me to their admitted students portal regarding scholarship info...

45k total scholarship.

Considering my number's I couldn't be happier.

USC keeps looking better!!

Got the 120K scholly from USC today, ucla up'ed its offer to 50K, said they wanted to know about any competitive offers "bring them to us". Question, will they step up?

I'm starting to hate my chances here, if they haven't even looked at my app for nearly 3 months at complete my prospects of getting in are probably minimal...

Time to start seriously considering other schools.

I had mine increased to 105k after USC gave me 120k. At the same time, UCLA is currently my top choice and I've been in regular contact with current students and admissions, so they knew I was very serious about attending if they increased my offer. FWIW I'm at or above the median for both schools. PM if you'd like more detail.

Picked up a nice $120K, which is actually less than what UCLA offered me. Maybe I can negotiate with USC for a full ride?

anyone consider USC and UCLA to be "similarly ranked"? i have no money from UCLA but do any of you think it's possible to get some with a 90K USC scholly?
