I'm not sure what constitutes "appropriate" but FWIW I've already gotten most of my offers (not from BU, as I only got in yesterday) and have had success negotiating a few of them.

I would have tried negotiating already if I weren't still waiting on scholarships from BC and WUSTL to use as leverage. If you have your offers already, go for it! I can't help thinking that earlier is better since they probably have some money left at this point and they haven't been approached by hoards of people looking to up their offers yet.

I went complete 9/13 and there has never been an update or any inclination that my app is even in a pile. I'm thinking waitlist or rejection, which would be hilarious given my cycle thus far.

Sorry, haven't been following this thread closely, but does BU offer a travel stipend for people who want to visit?

For any recent admits who have already received their packet in the mail: What mention was there of scholarships? Obviously, BU has already been giving out money, so I am hoping that they won't be making us wait months before hearing at this stage in the cycle.

Yeah, ASW mentioned $200 for travel purposes only. But they said to contact them in advance as there is a limited amount.

I think more like a dungeon. But they're doing major construction and renovations that should hopefully be done by the time you graduate.

BU, you are the only school left for me to hear from. Just send out the rejections already so I can move on.

I've only had one update from BC and it was 1/18, so I feel like I won't hear from them anytime soon. How important is BC as leverage? I have a fair amount of money from a (slightly) higher ranked school, could that help?
a slightly higher ranked school is good but anecdotally, i have heard that BU will compete hard with BC and vice versa... harder than other peer schools

For those accepted, how long did it take to receive admissions packet/scholarship info? I know I'm being annoying but I'm really excited :D

As you should be! Congrats! Took 4 days to receive mine.

Edit: I'm in NYC, if that helps give you an idea.
