What type of URM? If you are AA you will be fine getting into T14. UCLA isn't too URM friendly in my opinion. Take your numbers to USC instead :) they will probably even give you money.

Does UCLA give full rides or is this as close as I can get (meaning, worth negotiating for more?)

Damm son thats great, I only got 48K with a 168/3.9...I am going at the end of the month to LA to discuss my other "offers" with them.....hope they step up.

Sadly, I doubt it. My friend with a 170/3.8 just got in today with full ride.

I also wrote a solid why UCLA essay.

The lack of any sort of status checker is certainly proving quite vexing. It's like they expect us to just wait for them to make a decision without placating the granular information cravings of our Internet-addled brains--the gall of some people...
