I am, but as an RD traditional splitter I am almost certainly headed for the WL.

And, of course, I just now check my e-mail and I'm in with 75k! Well played, UVA, well played.

I almost feel guilty about spamming this thread with congrats, but that's awesome! Big congrats!

In light of the newest round of rainmaking, any add'l thoughts on UVA's strategy? Going all out to protect (raise?) medians and move up in USNWR?

Lol that wasnt meant as a slight to you. I feel like the scholly they gave me also reeked of desperation.

As far as whether competitors follow suit, it will be up to us to create the bidding war. In general the other schools like Penn, Georgetown, etc have been stingier.

Some VA number started calling me 3 weeks ago.

Gave me a heart attack of excitement the first time.

Today was the fifth time and I have finally saved it on my phone contacts as "Not UVA Love"
