Huh. I did submit a FAFSA--I just thought no way would I qualify for need-based aid. My husband and I both have professional jobs--his as a govt attorney.junm wrote:I'm pretty sure that's need-based aid. Received need aid and then merit. Because I received merit aid, my net scholarship only increased a couple thousand.

Does GW negotiate at all? Or is the absolute max 75000?

Sorry to those on the WL... I have nothing to withdraw.
Rejected today; 166 (171 expired) with a low GPA but that was a long time ago (4.0 in masters program).

Re: GW c/o 2015 Applicants (2011-2012 cycle)
Withdrew Monday as well. Hopefully my $ goes to someone else, though I don't get how they decide how much to give. I told them about $80k at Vandy and $70k at Duke. GW offered me $30k. Why bother at all? Do they actually think I'd go to GW with $30k over Duke at $70k (or Michigan at $30k or UCLA at ca. $100k)?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
