I’m glad you will be joining us for our February Open House. I look forward to seeing you soon! Just so you know, on Saturday, February 18th, BLSA is hosting our annual “Jazzy Nights” party. even though this is a blsa event, it seems like many students have already committed to attending the party on the fb event

Well that sounds cool! I never got that e-mail though it seems, I feel left out. Was it only sent out to URMs or something?

umm im not sure..i am a urm though and when they sent out the emails for us to contact someone in an organization i contacted someone from blsa, and i guess she was trying to keep me in the loop..so i wanted to share on here so others know as well..also i think brett may be posting about it on the fb group

Apparently we are. I just read through the info packet and it stated specifically that all "All admitted students and their guests are welcome to attend."

Can you give us any info on what it's like? Cocktail party? Dance party? The facebook page says OPEN BAR so i'm in regardless.

On Saturday night, our Black Law Students Association (BLSA) will host a social event, Jazzy Nights, at Tuscany Italian Restaurant in downtown Lexington. All admitted students and their guests are invited to attend. Please note, this event is a dressier event and cocktail attire is encouraged.

Tuscany Italian Restaurant is a short, two-block walk from Saturday night's dinner location. For those admitted students wishing to attend this event, shuttle service will be provided from Tuscany Italian Restaurant to the hotels until 11:00 p.m. Saturday night. After 11:00, all admitted students seeking transportation to their hotel will have to make their own arrangements.

There's gotta be hope -- I don't know how you didn't get in in the first place those are great numbers...I'm sure you're near the tippy-top of the WL. Good luck!

W&L's 25th% is a 3.5 too. So you're under the 25th percentile GPA and above the 75th percentile LSAT with C&F.

Should be interesting. As a fellow waitlister (160, 3.6), best of luck to you! I hope we get in

Got the "Things to do in Lexington" e-mail for the ASW this weekend. Is anyone not flying/driving early on Sunday and interested in checking any of these things out? I have a 7 hour drive, but I might just stay through the early afternoon to see more of the town/local restaurants since Saturday is taken up with LS-related stuff (and I'm not getting in until very late Friday).

To all of those people who are set on w&l, I will be attending this weekend's asw and I'm looking for a roomie, I've already found a place, 2beds 2baths, and its fully furnished, and a short walk to campus..message me if you want more info

I'm at 167 and 3.62 (3.83 with addendum). Plus I'm in the military. Fingers crossed!!!
