I've been on FR;NDR for almost a month now....really hope I get in! I'm not sure if it would be wise to contact them and let them know I got into FSU given that I only applied to three schools.

There's really very little that you can do that would be "unwise" tbh. They're not going to reject you because you said you got in to FSU.Sspinner wrote:I've been on FR;NDR for almost a month now....really hope I get in! If there's a pressing deadline, like an ASW at FSU coming up, definitely tell UF but frame it as being related to the upcoming ASW. IE you don't want to spend the money on travel expenses since UF is your number one choice.
I'm not an expert on admissions or anything, but that seems like a safe idea to me.

Still waiting on UF....I'm tempted to just send in my seat deposit to FSU and give up hope for being a gator.

I just went under review. Any idea how long before a change happens after initial review?

If it goes more than 5 months, the semester would have startedLawStudent89 wrote:From my experience, usually a little more than 5 months.Genny wrote:I just went under review. Any idea how long before a change happens after initial review?

Did you apply in October? That may have something to do with the long wait.
I applied in January and heard around late February. I'm guessing at this point, they'll be making decisions even sooner since it's getting close to most schools decision date.

I'm an idiot and waited until I got my Feb Score to apply. So I applied March 8th

Anyone know where I should look to find my UFID#?

I'm also 99.9% sure I will be attending UF. Would it be appropriate to bring my fiancé to ASD or will I be "that guy". Also regarding football tickets I thought I read UF does it based on the amount of years you have been enrolled for classes with them. Is this true or do graduate students get any preferential treatment in that regard

Unless you were a UF undergrad, you get the same preference as Freshmen regarding football tickets. That said, only one person I know that wanted them didn't get them, so maybe the ticket office is lying, or we all just got really lucky this year. Its Always Sunny wrote:I'm also 99.9% sure I will be attending UF. Bring your fiance. It's a different situation than bringing your parents because realistically, she will be meeting at least a few of your classmates and will have to deal with law school bullshit for three years. Might as well introduce her to it at ASD.
To the prior comment, it has been so long since I got my UFID that I don't remember where you can find it.

All I need is a ticket to watch my Tigers destroy the Gators again next year and I'll be content.LSATmakesMeNeurotic wrote:Sorry HeatFeelTheHeat wrote:LSATmakesMeNeurotic wrote:

Ha! We'll see about that with Driskel/Brissett taking over the reins. (Good riddance, Brantley).
Anyway... lately it's been pretty easy to win the football ticket lottery. Even among freshman, it seems that a very large number were able to obtain them. This is obviously a direct result of recent failures on the field...

^^You're right. They were begging us to buy bowl game tickets this year. They even offered to let us buy more than one for friends and family AND opened up bidding for season tickets (not student ones) for the first time since I've been here.drunkewok28 wrote:Ha! Did you see Driskel or Brissett play last season? I'll always be a gator, and I'm hoping for the best, but they both sucked big time.drunkewok28 wrote:Ha! We'll see about that with Driskel/Brissett taking over the reins. (Good riddance, Brantley).
There's probably like a 40% chance that an incoming law student will get season tickets. But you have to register for the ticket lottery by like June 5th, most years. Even if you don't get season tickets, you'll usually be able to find tickets on craigslist for $20 for bad games and $40 for good ones.Anyway... lately it's been pretty easy to win the football ticket lottery. Just noticed under the fees paid section of the status checker that there is an orientation fee. What is that?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
