So some of you may never believe I was called on a Saturday evening, but the proof doesn't really get more concrete than this lol......MikulJaxin wrote:Anyone think we might get notified today or do we have reason to believe it'll be after Thanksgiving? I know Dean Tom was realllyyyyyyyyy busy having phone sex with that chick at freakin 10:30 PM on Saturday but considering that phone call didn't even take place maybe he'll have time to call some of us!

and if anyone thinks I fabricated this picture you ppl are beyond help. See ya next fall!!!! :p

FYI you should probably edit the EXIF data out of that picture unless you want us to know what mall you shop at (good choice with the iPhone 4S though).agalang wrote:So some of you may never believe I was called on a Saturday evening, but the proof doesn't really get more concrete than this lol......MikulJaxin wrote:Anyone think we might get notified today or do we have reason to believe it'll be after Thanksgiving? Re: Berkeley c/o 2015 Applicants (2011-2012 cycle)
so berkeley is my #1, quick question for everyone. How likely is it (UR since 10.26, no decision) that they'll ask for a copy of this semester's grades after the semester is over? My GPA is about to take a hit from two really terrible courses and I'm metering how much to freak out about finals...

Wow! As a fellow 11/22 UR applicant I hope to hear something soon. Do you think I should just assume they have passed over me if I didn't hear anything today? Or does Berkeley give people decisions with the same UR date over multiple days normally?
CONGRATULATIONS for all of those who heard today!

I am 11/22 as well and have heard nothing. I got the impression that there were some 11/22 people in the email acceptances today but also lots of people from 10/27 and before. Can someone else confirm this??Zelda wrote:Wow! As a fellow 11/22 UR applicant I hope to hear something soon. I'm 11/22 and nothing. It seemed like today was more 10/27 and the auto admits from 11/22 ( that are OOS)amc987 wrote:I am 11/22 as well and have heard nothing. Still stuck on 10/27. I've been accepted at Georgetown, Michigan, and UVA, which leads me to believe that my PS is relatively strong (I submitted the same PS to all schools). I'm also a reverse splitter, which I figured wouldn't hurt me at Berkeley as much as it might at other schools.
I don't know what to think at this point. A little frustrated but keeping hope.

Re: Berkeley c/o 2015 Applicants (2011-2012 cycle)
I love the trend with the posts in this thread (and more generally across TLS): one or more posts about acceptances, followed by congratulations/celebrations, then everyone else freaks out because they haven't heard and they've been UR for two weeks (since 10/19 here, btw), then we all reassure each other that it's STILL. REALLY. EARLY. and that we shall not let TLS/law school paranoia control us.
And then the next wave of decisions starts the whole cycle again. So I guess this is my cue to say... If you (like me) haven't heard back, it's ok!!! It's still REALLY. EARLY.

Same stuck at 10/27 here. Accepted at NYU, Duke, and Gtown so far. I think the sub 3.7 gpa is holding me back at Berkeley. Just a guess though.darkgrayclouds wrote:Still stuck on 10/27. So according to the admissions packet, new in-state tuition up to 50k, non-res is 54. Ouch

Yea, that tuition thing is crazy! I am not gonna be able to go if I don't get some aid. My salary is too high to qualify for need-based aid (despite the fact that I won't be making a salary in law school)... And, I already have 250K in grad school debt... I am really stressing about that.... argh!

Eeesshhhhh... that would mean you'd leave law school 500k in debt. What's your other grad degree?Kimberly wrote:Yea, that tuition thing is crazy! I am not gonna be able to go if I don't get some aid. MD. I know, it is totally nuts. Like a house I will never move in to. Trust me, I routinely contemplate my own sanity regarding this decision...
