No, it isn't the same...hold means they'll review your file again and make a decision later...waitlist means there aren't seats.

About schollys...I think it's also a possibility that they won't hand out the money they'll get back from ppl who want to go elsewhere...I mean they could just keep that money for next cycle or to pay for other stuff...I certainly hope they give us some of that money tho...I guess we'll have to wait and see...

I received my acceptance packet yesterday. Does scholly info come later or are they really out for this year? I have 163/3.6 so I was hoping for at least something.

Yeah I got in too. Any word on how credible the program is? I emailed the liaison for info about alumni of the program/employment stats but she responded that this may is actually the first graduating class.

If how you define credibility is based on employment outcome relevance, the MM program does not release employment data and the JD/MM has not been in existence long enough to gauge.

I applied February 2 and just got in at 5:45 this morning by email. That was quicker than I anticipated....160, 3.3

I have to say they're status checker was pretty stupid. It didn't tell you a damn thing.

Didn't receive a status checker email, finally called, they resent the email, signed in only to discover the application was already placed on hold - 1/25.

Submitted app 12/28, submitted LOCI 1/26

Anyone know the likelihood of being accepted after being on hold or is that just a nice way of saying "we're eventually going to put you on the waitlist."

Has anyone that was placed on hold send in an additional lor? When I try to on lsac it says that the school will only accept one if there is a new score or update in your file.

Even so, it's safe to say that some who received scholarships will opt out of attending Miami, which in turn will free up opportunities for others.
