This is slowly making me hate Davis.

...and I'm an undergrad here. Can't even enjoy the squirrels anymore. I'm tempted to go to King Hall and just speak to someone about my application getting looked at. But I know it would be futile.

Been exactly three weeks since i sent in my LOCI. When do you guys think would be an appropriate time to send in another letter/message. Would a brief email suffice?

So I'm currently on King Halls Waitlist. My scores should have gotten me in, but i know with the insane amount of applicants it probably bumped me to the waitlist. You mentioned that it's doable to get in? What do you recommend someone in my position do? I've written a LOCI and even went into King Hall and personally delivered it with an updated letter of rec talking about a recent promotion and other new events. What else should I do? When would be a good time to follow up?

I like how I go into "Evaluation in Progress" TODAY when, if they are correct, I should be hearing my final decision TOMORROW. Way to go Davis, 4 months of nothing only to change things that day before you will (most likely) deny me.

Hmm I'm still waiting for evaluation. If the decisions do have to be made by tonight I'm obviously screwed haha.

Anyone want to take bets on whether all decisions are out today? I seriously, seriously have my doubts... It's just after 4 months at Complete and 1.5 at Under Evaluation, I kind of have grown to view the nondecision from UC Davis as the most stable part of my admissions cycle

I emailed the school a week or so ago to ask if I would have a decision by the end of April or not (at the time I wasn't under evaluation yet). They said that was their intention. I'm getting stressed out because I have a deposit due tomorrow - I'd like to know well before 6pm. It would be horrible to send money to another school only to find out HOURS later that I was accepted to Davis - though, I'm not sure the chances are all that good...

It makes me kind of mad - sheesh, I want my 75$ back if you are just going to pretend to consider my application. Oh well. I guess we just have to wait and see.

I just called JD Admissions and asked her if all the decisions would be made by tonight and she said:

No we missed our deadline and we apologize for that. We will be reading applications and making decisions into May.

Too bad - as much as I would like to go to Davis, this is driving me crazy....
