Nice! Now this will make me nervous waiting for the mail all day today.
Is the post office delivering mail today?

I thought not, but I guess they are? I checked Google as well, and it says they aren't.

According to USPS.com "There is no regular mail delivery/pickup or retail services on Postal holidays." MLK Day is a Postal holiday.

And was it at a university mailbox? I know our mail isn't necessarily delivered to our student mailboxes the same day it arrives, so it could have actually arrived on Saturday but just made it in to his box today.

Edited for gender. Just checked your prof. Sorry I called you a girl ksimon. Lol.

Looks like a couple of people on LSN have heard as well. I think they both might have been VA residents. I know one was for sure.

I'm confused, since there's no mail today. Did they send this in a email?

No, they live in VA. So it only took a day.

Also, ksimon, were there GPA/class rank stipulations on your scholarship? I'm gonna try to negotiate my stipulations at Alabama.

They seem pretty strict about their GPA stips. Most are 3.15 and they say that 70% of the class achieves it... they also don't offer 2 or 3L schollys. Good luck to everyone tomorrow!

They being W&L or Alabama? I would assume that a 3.15 would be easier to maintain than top 40% (with Alabama's median being a 3.2 according to a 2L I talked to on here).

W&L , sorry. From everything I have read, they don't negotiate.

Oh ok. Yeah, I don't anticipate trying to negotiate my scholarship (if I get one) at W&L, I wanna use them to negotiate with others. Thats why I was asking about the stipulation. W&Ms is only a 2.0 so those two together might hold some weight as far as Bama goes. That was my thought process.

Going to check my campus mailbox now. I'll let you all know if I got something.

I received the 3.15 stipulation for the scholarship to remain during 2l and 3l.

Just made my third trip to the mail box of today and finally got my letter. $$$$, 3.25 stipulation. I think it's safe to say I have a winner unless I'm in at Columbia.

Edit: 3.25 stip, not 3.15 for me.

In today's mail: info packet from Brooklyn Law School, 2010 Annual Report from my alma mater, official acceptance letter from UNC (got email nearly a month ago), and NOTHING from W&L.

Going to pull my hair out, I think.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
