I've been out of UG for a while and I also haven't heard anything yet.

But I also applied late. And I'm a fucking moron for having done so. So perhaps they're just taking their sweet time in turning me down since, after all, I'm a fucking moron.

Boalt w/$75K, almost for sure. CLS is going to have to come through with at least $50K for me to even consider them, and I doubt they'll do that. (At CLS sticker, there's a $100K COA difference for me between the two schools.)

It's hard to pass up on the weather and the culture :> I may end up there as well.

Everybody calm down. There's still plenty of time.

I'm sure the AdComm is just giving our applications just one more thorough review before deciding...to WL us.

My fellow HbHers:
Long time lurker, first time poster. What to say so my legacy will live on? I guess that even though we're all competing for the same golden ticket, I feel a mystical bond between all of us. I've relied on this site so much throughout the cycle, so just wanted to get in on the fun!

Anyway, just got the WL email today. 169/3.91, Held in February, no JR1. I'm trying to decide whether no JR1 is worse than JR1-Hold-WL, but I think you could make an argument either way. I still think it feels worse because that's still one step further away than those of you who have JR1s. But either way, WL is WL and I'm going to go make my ancestors proud by getting good and ripped tonight. If there's a more constructive way to approach, let me know and I'll give it a go tomorrow morning. Until then, keep your heads up! Or withdraw! Either way!

Yours in suspsense,
swampthang

Without question JR1/Hold/WL is the worst possible outcome.

so last year waitlists went out from 4/14 - 4/17 (tuesday-friday). well over half of the holds on lsn are still pending so I guess they'll be a whole bunch more waitlists and maybe a few jr1s/jrs2s for holds next week. and some rejections for nonholds.

In most hold pools (though lord knows Harvard may be an exception), the end-game rate of attrition is incredibly high.

well, I thought about going with irreducibly, but I decided that was too nonsensical even for this nonsense. :P

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
