OMFG!!!!! Columbia just now emailed me for a fall grades request. I never sent them in because my gpa only went up .01 so it's essentially the same. They've had my app since freaking Oct. Why are they just now asking??? FML!!!!!!!!!!

Ahhh thanks but I have no idea how long it's going to take for my transcript to get there. The clock is ticking! I wish they'd have asked back in January or even February. Plus it's not like my grades are actually going to help since there wasn't any change.

Nope. Nowhere close. Even a 4.0 last semester wouldn't have put me up there, and they have to realize that so I don't see the point in this. I'm a fairly decent URM candidate, so my guess is they wanted to see if my grades got closer to their standards at all to justify taking me. That's not going to happen, so hopefully now I will at least get my ding/reserve sooner rather than later!

Haha they just thanked me for my file update. I didn't update my file CLS; you asked for it...MONTHS AFTER HAVING MY APP! (Granted they couldn't ask for my fall grades in October, but still! )

Me too! I can't believe they've strung you along for so long. I will be unhappy if after all this they put you on reserve.

Currently still waiting to hear back from CLS after submitting early feb... but just thought I'd update that a classmate of mine who applied near the feb deadline just got in this afternoon via e-mail. He has a 3.9/173 so he pretty much knew he was getting in... just thought I'd let everyone know that they are letting people in (slowly but surely).

Submitted Feb 8, completed Feb 14.... really anxious to hear back from CLS but I'm just concentrating on how happy I am about NYU and how awesome living in NYC will be!
