They had several Snapchat filters made just for the admitted students day on Friday!proteinshake wrote:judging by the Cornell Law location filter on Instagram, Cornell seems fun
The campus and building were beautiful. I feel like Cornell and penn aren't talked about much on here.

This is my law school result too. It's a hard choiceKeilz wrote:Thanks - sent in my first emailproteinshake wrote:send it to the financial aid office and if there's a specific person, they'll forward it. include all your competing offers (I put every single offer I had from all peer schools) in the initial email.Keilz wrote:For those who have successfully negotiated, have you like sent a general email to ask to speak to someone who deals with financial aid, or do you just send an email to the financial aid email address and lay it all out on the table in your first message? I just visited the school.![]()
Also sad that i'm sitting here at 1am on a saturday freaking out about deciding between three schools where my heart is not 100%I wish I could hear back from NYU/CLS. I really just don't want to spend another three years long distance, and I really want to take part in the opportunities afforded at those schools

Yeah it was a warm sunny beautiful day. Wish I was able to visit when it was cold too hahaproteinshake wrote:Cornell definitely has one of my fav law school buildings (and prob general campus). it's the cold I can't standKeilz wrote:They had several Snapchat filters made just for the admitted students day on Friday!proteinshake wrote:judging by the Cornell Law location filter on Instagram, Cornell seems fun

But even if it's cloudy and grey most of the time, I never knew it was on a hill which I liked so much. I know it's nonconsrquential to judge schools by external factors like this, but I really value being in places that I enjoy spending time in. Right now, I'm inspired to exercise and go up this hill near me just to look at the view. i think spending time in a cubicle has allowed me to appreciate landscaping, scenery, architecture, etc so much more lol

Yeah, it's tough! Especially when you have your heart set on one particular goal.Po$eidon wrote:This is my law school result too. Is it a good idea to let a school know if/when you double deposited? Especially for negotiations sake?

Doesn't have to be long, just a short e-mail "Hey I'm looking forward to learning more about your school, as Pennsylvania Dutch Barn Law Center remains one of my top choices. I have also placed a deposit at __ other school(s). Thank you for all of your assistance to date. Regards, lawlkid."

idk man, sorry no one has answered yet, i think most of us here are first time applicantslatetothis wrote:I'm curious to know how the reapplicants have fared in this cycle. I'm retaking the LSAT in June (third and final try) and considering reapplying depending on the score.

Re: TLS c/o 2020 Applicants (flexin pole)
don't quote: just saw this. I got WL'd at a school I got $$ at last cycle but that might also have to do with the fact that they started YPing real hard this cycle (Cornell). I also underperformed in general but that's probably because of lackluster softs and why Xs. but I did get into my top choice with $$ so I didn't care about the other schools.latetothis wrote:I'm curious to know how the reapplicants have fared in this cycle. Fine. Got into multiple schools I was denied at last year. Probably most relevant to your question: received scholarship to one school last year and did not accept. received over 40k more from them this year. They asked multiple questions about why I didn't attend last year so have a response to that question, and, ideally, answer it in your withdraw email to some extent.latetothis wrote:I'm curious to know how the reapplicants have fared in this cycle.
