Reserve via e-mail.
I am surprised and in a very good way!! I thought I was a ding for sure. My numbers are not great, not URM. :D
Slim chance of getting off the list but I'm just happy it's not a ding.

At this late date, and with good numbers? When did you submit / complete?

I've got the same LSAT and a lower GPA. I'll be watching my inbox nervously. :|

December retake, submitted around mid January, complete 1/24, so definitely on the late side.

Yep, seems like a waste of an email. I guess I'll see what happens, but this is going to make me consider other options pretty seriously.

I have nearly identical stats to you, so I am not too optimistic.

But maybe they held you because of me 8)

held via email as well. applied in early Jan bc of dec lsat as well: 173 / gpa is lower than a 3.8 lol. Sigh. Honestly, I'm glad it wasn't a rejection and I shall continue to have hope.

Depends on what you mean by last minute. I was complete 1/21 or somewhere around there and heard back with an acceptance early last week.

Held this morning at Columbia.

Would now be a good time to send a Why Columbia? They already have my fall transcript.

Does anyone know how held applicants have fared in the past? I would do some research on this, except I am up to my eyeballs in work... :(

Held this morning as well. I was thinking the same thing too. I noticed that as opposed to other schools, Columbia does not say anything about additional essays, LOCI's or LOR's. They only mention updated transcripts. Do you think it is a wise idea do send any of the aforementioned articles?

I cant just sit and do nothing.

Agreed. I am leaning towards sending an additional essay.

Held this morning via email. 170/3.69/complete on 1/25.

I have a pretty good idea for a "Why Columbia" LOCI, do you guys think it's worth sending?
