I haven't thought much about Emory since I sent my app in. It'd be tough, for sure. But SO and I were talking about options the other day, and she wondered: "Why aren't we going to Atlanta??"

Then I said something nasty about the LSAT and we moved on. If Emory opens its doors to me, well ... Aw, hell if I know anymore.

Waitlisted and withdrawing. Thanks for making me wait for five months already just to tell me I can wait some more. Last year, people with my numbers received $84,000 scholarships. This year, we're waitlisted. WTF.

Emory at sticker is a bad decision ITE unless you've got someone helping you out with the bill.

Yes. I am probably attending the University of Washington right now, unless I get a miracle from Vandy.
Just curious, would you attend Vandy at sticker? UW offers pretty reasonable tuition.

Waitlisted today. Anyone read the FAQs? If you get off the waitlist, you have 48 HOURS to accept! I don't know whether this is the norm at other schools, but seems insanely quick to me.

I just accepted my spot on the waitlist. I'm highly interested in the school, but just worried about the finances at this point, like other posters. I'll write some LOCIs and hopefully visit next month.

Smacked with another waitlist. Vandy, I'll wait for you. Emory, probably not so much.

Waitlisted. 164/3.59. I'll stick it out on the waitlist, send a LOCI, etc. I would definitely consider Emory even at sticker. I'll be the first to admit I don't like my odds of getting off the waitlist, though. Oh well! 5 decisions left to go...

That's a tough question. I am from the Pacific Northwest and went to school in Southern California, but I have lived and worked in the deep south for the last 4 years. UW at sticker is really reasonable, especially considering the in-state tuition for 2L and 3L, and I love that region of the U.S.

However, getting into Vandy would be really exciting. It is probably the only school I have not received a decision where I would consider paying sticker (sans Cornell, which is not realistic for me). I'd probably have to do some visits and do some heavy number crunching to make a decision.
