Since I applied on 11/1 and my status still reads "File ready for review" is it safe to say that I'm gonna get rejected?

has anybody that applied for the jd/llm heard anything yet? i'm "ready for review", as of 9 nov., sent 7 nov.

A lot of the people who have gotten RD replies so far, namely the ones that got responses in 5 days or less, should have been on the PT list anyways. No idea why they were not. It is also possible that they were PT without knowing it. I would not fret until people start getting accepted within 5 days whose numbers would not have been a lock for PT.

Congrats to all those Accepted this weekend btw. Good luck on the rest of your cycle.

Edit: Example Ali & Ali has like a 3.96 and 176.

I'm really curious about this too. I think my numbers are too low, but I'm intrigued by the whole process (number of folks who get the nomination/finalist/etc.).

Got the email today, in via Priority Track. I went complete on the 10th. 171/4.0 are my stats. Luck and congrats all!

Was that "File ready for review" on the 10th or "Under Review"?

It was"ready for review" on the 10th but switched to "under review" the next day. And thanks!

Natalie, did you write a "Why Duke"? I really don't want to write one, as I feel I have nothing genuine to say, but my stats are lower (169/3.9) and I don't want to screw myself over. I'm also PT.

my file finallly switched to "File Under Review"...not PT but ED. Hopefully that means a decision by the end of the week?

Not Natalie, obviously, but I have the exact same stats, was PT, and have been admitted with no "Why Duke" essay. Only thing is I went for the JD/LLM, but I think they'd be more stringent with that if anything. HTH.
