I'd say it's more random, I got in RD without an interview and I know the same is true for a bunch of peopleSamiam1738 wrote:Are interviews as important of an indicator as by Chicago and Harvard? Or more random?

I wouldn't say it's random but definitely very rare. Most people don't get interviewed. But I think it's for extreme splitters or for applicants that have something unconventional.38981928 wrote:+1! Also wondering this, my status checker said they sent out my package the 11th but I still haven't gotten anything, I'm not that far from Penn eitheretramak wrote:Did anyone who got admitted in the big wave a couple weeks ago get anything in the mail yet?

PHL-NYC standard mail takes I think 6 business days. Lets say they sent it didn't go out until the 12 it might not come until tomorrow or might be in our mailbox right nowSopranoSaxophone wrote:I got admitted in December and still have not received any mailing from them.tmcauliffe96 wrote:Also wondering this, my status checker said they sent out my package the 11th but I still haven't gotten anything, I'm not that far from Penn eitheretramak wrote:Did anyone who got admitted in the big wave a couple weeks ago get anything in the mail yet?

You're not the only one: I'm in the same boat. I certainly don't think it's a good sign, but I'm also getting the sense that perhaps Penn's timeline is a bit further behind than the other schools I applied to.sanesatsuma wrote:I've been stuck at UR1 since 12/18.
