I've got a good feeling about NYU and Penn waivers this week. I think this is when they came out last year...

There are legitimately Why X example-ish pages on this very websiteBronxToBoston wrote:Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, but I'm not having much luck with google...
Does anyone have examples of "Why X" statements? Or a forum in which they've been posted in previous cycles?

Any Atlanta area people going to the Duke/Cornell/Stanford/UChicago info session next week? Each dean of admissions will be there, would it be worthwhile to go? What could I expect?

I'm applying now, quick little $5 profit plus there's an outside chance that it could be useful in negotiations.littlewing67 wrote:Alabama Law tempting me to apply by giving me a fee waiver and a $40 Amazon gift card if I do. I c u

Got a UCLA fee waiver. Wasn't going to apply, but honestly might now.
Didn't get Alabama though.

Their offer seems ethically questionable. But then again, IANAL. (I think I will go ahead and do it as well. I wonder how long it will take to get gift card.Slippin' Jimmy wrote:I'm applying now, quick little $5 profit plus there's an outside chance that it could be useful in negotiations.littlewing67 wrote:Alabama Law tempting me to apply by giving me a fee waiver and a $40 Amazon gift card if I do. Fee waiver question - does anyone know if it's worth mentioning a Fulbright in waiver requests in addition to the usual GPA/LSAT info? I know that most softs don't matter all that much, but based on Berkeley's criteria for solicited waivers any chance fellowships might be an exception?

Got the Penn waiver. No NYU though (but will definitely solicit)

Penn waiver in, but nothing from NYU (pretty close to the top of my list)
I solicited 3 weeks ago, nothing left to do right?
