I'm guessing (hoping) that the next wave will happen this coming Tuesday. Last year they seem to almost exclusively release decisions on Tuesdays and we're already a week behind last year.

This argument is pointless unless we are measuring ability to cite NU's Student Handbook. If you don't do well enough that you can't register for classes then scholarship is probably the least of your worries at the moment, and further, it's HIGHLY unlikely any NU Law student gets a GPA low enough to lose their scholarship.

It is not about highly unlikely any NU Law student gets a GPA low enough to lose their scholarship but some students based on the school's policy must have a C, D, and an F. The distribution of the curve from one law school to another is different though. Still some will have a C, others will have D, and an F.

When the grades come out, that is when everyone start to realize what law school is all about. Students come in with confidence but once your law school exam grades are posted, and you look at your Fall semester GPA, you're like what went wrong.

You have a class of 40 students, that means 3 will have a C and 3 others will have a D and an F and you're left with 34 students who will get anywhere from an A+ to a C+. You're looking at max 9 students being in the A range and the rest fall in the B range with few getting a C+. Are you going to be one of the 9 students who would get few A in these classes? usually that is not the case. But it is possible.

I'm a Northwestern 3L and you have no idea what you're talking about. You are dangerously and absurdly wrong. It is almost impossible to lose your scholarship at Northwestern. I have never heard of it happening. Professors do not have to give out any Cs, Ds, or Fs. Most don't give any. Some professors will give out 1 or 2 Cs if a student is far below the rest of the curve. Any student who takes all their exams, even with only putting forth minimal effort, will retain their scholarship.

Talking out of your ass is a bad look. Don't do it.

Well, you can go back and learn how to read. You're a 3L. We do know NU don't 1) offer conditional scholarship and 2) the 509 report shows no academic attrition. A generous post was snow ball into different conversation and you entertained to bump it. A good advise, focus on your NU grades that were posted recently. I don't entertain offense language or resort to name calling. However, see below.

Unfortunately some tend to slip through admission with such character and class and once they get in, we see who was behind the suit and tie. This is not new. 5 days to go complete after your interview and eight to ten weeks to render a decision.

It took longer than that for me. At some point, I decided enough was enough and sent them an email inquiring about when I'd go complete and the next day I was complete. Idk if the two were correlated but, just a heads up... lol
