Any chance FR ppl will hear sooner than 2/3? Or is it more like we'll hear on 2/3 or later?

I haven't heard anything since early October. Does that mean I'm dead?

Dinged via status checker! Says Decision Made. ANd on top says they regret to tell me I have not been offered a place in Class of 2020 and that a letter will be sent in 24 hours.
UR 12/12 or 12/15 I think. Never got FR so I knew with my LSAT I would get the ding! Hope this helps y'all! Good luck!

Dinged today via email, slightly unexpected as I had 75% GPA and between 75% and 50% LSAT. I already got into Upenn though so I'm not upset -- best of luck to everyone !

So sorry about that. Penn is a dream though so that's awesome. When did you go UR?Mackgal wrote:Dinged today via email, slightly unexpected as I had 75% GPA and between 75% and 50% LSAT. I already got into Upenn though so I'm not upset -- best of luck to everyone !

I honestly don't remember the exact date. I applied in September a day or two after applications opened and went UR sometime between October / November (I think October though)EinassA wrote:So sorry about that. Just got dinged via email:
Under review since 12/5, 3.88/166. Kind of surprised since I'm at median/75th and have a social justice oriented personal statement.
First ding

Got the UR email today! Went complete 1/4. Any idea how long I should expect to wait? I don't have a high GPA by any means (sub-3.5) but took a chance applying anyway because I figured why not. 50 < LSAT < 75.

Dinged. Guess they are really hating on splitters, as per usual. Oh well

Hmm, that doesn't bode well for my chances then. Especially since you have better splitter stats than I do.S.Picquery wrote:Dinged. Guess they are really hating on splitters, as per usual. Oh well

You never know. They may have felt my disdain for all weather that is warm.Instrumental wrote:Hmm, that doesn't bode well for my chances then. Especially since you have better splitter stats than I do.S.Picquery wrote:Dinged. Guess they are really hating on splitters, as per usual. Oh well

Complete 1/6 so hoping I get UR soon too. Ugh patience is not one of my virtues.brinicolec wrote:Got the UR email today! Went complete 1/4. Any idea how long I should expect to wait? After checking all the rejections they put out lately, I'm expecting I'll get a rejection too. Some people with stats around mine got accepted last cycle, but it wasn't many. I'm just trying to remind myself that scores and apps are down so maybe I'll have better luck.Rigo wrote:Complete 1/6 so hoping I get UR soon too. It's a step (not required) between UR and decision for applicants adcomm ppl think are borderline so they send them to faculty review to allow them to give insight on the decision.

Awesome - thanks for clarifying. I guess its better than a rejection, I wonder what favors applicants here -- obviously faculty are less concerned with grades than with the applicants resume etc I assume?

I'm not sure. I haven't seen any statistical breakdowns that separate UR decisions vs. FR decisions.JAbrams2012 wrote:brinicolec wrote:Faculty review.JAbrams2012 wrote:Can anybody explain what exactly under FR means? thanks guys
