Out of curiosity, is the step after UR2 acceptance? Or is it interview? What's the process here. Does everyone who gets accepted go into UR2?

As much as I was hoping for a wave today, I think it's (unfortunately) more likely that they'll release decisions on the 8th of this week (Thursday) because the waves were a week apart last year.notorious_mig wrote:That's what I'm sayin! It looked like last year there was some sort of Tuesday pattern at the beginning of December (I think there were waves on Dec. 1, 8, and 15) so hopefully it'll be similar this year?Christinabruin wrote:Haha aww hopefully our status checkers get moving along soon!notorious_mig wrote:Aghhhhhhhhhhhh this ruins my theory ): but thanks 4 the info~~~Christinabruin wrote:I submitted 11/18, UR1 since 11/21 and didn't apply for a scholarship..notorious_mig wrote:(Slash @everyone: did anyone who is still UR1 apply for a scholarship?)

NYU doesn't interview (except for scholarships) & 8 believe some people have said they went UR1 then got a decision so I don't think UR2 is necessary for acceptance

Thanks for all the congratulations. My status went to DLS today, unfortunately I didn't track the UR dates and all that so I can't provide that info.
Oh and I applied around 11/22, so it's been only a couple weeks. Surprised they came back so fast!

nah, throwaway had GREAT stats, I think they've been trickling in for people with high stats. I feel a big wave coming on. Especially bc there are multiple rounds of UR2s going on. Hopefully I'm not lost in the shadows :'(Thelaw23 wrote:Does this mean that was it for this week's wave?

That's what I'm thinking. From what I can tell, we've only seen two big waves since they began the week before Thanksgiving. I would imagine they're likely to start doing waitlist and deny notifications soon as well...BrittanyJeream wrote:Yeah; I think there's gonna be a BIG one eventually - hopefully this week?Keilz wrote:nah, throwaway had GREAT stats, I think they've been trickling in for people with high stats. It is assumed that most people who get decisions from the upcoming wave will be admitted?
