I talked to the admissions office and they said they send scholarship info 3-4 weeks after the admission decision.

Complete 1/12 :(

At this point if it takes 4 weeks for scholarship info to come to me, I may not even have enough time to wait on them before making a decision on some of my other schools.

I felt like a weirdo asking people "Do you use TLS?" and they're all like "No what's that?"

Apparently UT has a reputation for being stingy with scholarship offers? Is that true?

Looks like the amounts are pretty low on lsn, but keep in mind COA is also relatively low

I interviewed on Monday and haven't heard anything since then. Is it too soon to get worried? From what I've heard people usually hear back (if they get in) within a few days. Comfort me?

Yes, that's how I got my scholly info. E-mail with an attached document specifying things in more detail.

Sooo glad I applied here. But, both based on the polls here and a show of hands during the ASD, there seems to be much more than 35% OOS. I'm really really hoping this doesn't stop them from offering their OOS tuition waivers (at some point I'd assume they have to cut off the stream of OOS money or run foul of the 65-35 law).

If I can pull anywhere near the money I have from peer schools I'm sold.

P.S. the class so far is great. (assuming the people at ASD were representative, of course)

And I'm hoping this means they pull a lot of us in-states off of the waitlist!
