Do they interview everybody? I submitted and was complete on 1/8 but haven't had any status change or any interview request. Is that normal?

From my understanding, the later you apply the longer things are going to take. This, of course, also varies depending on your numbers, particularly LSAT. I don't remember if the status checker was at all useful last year, but it wasn't for most schools I applied to. In other words, yes it's normal, don't worry about the status checker so much, and I'm not sure if they interview everybody but it's not yet time to panic. Unless your numbers are under both medians.

No. Only people who are being considered for admission. People who are auto rejects aren't getting interviewed.

I applied on 1/14 and three days later received a request to interview. My GPA is average and my LSAT is 25%, so I'm wondering do they interview people that they are planning on waitlisting? I've seen so many people get in that have had interviews but no stories of dings after an interview so I'm just checking in on this! It seems so odd that I would have received a request to interview just three days later so I'm wondering what's up.

I think interview request is always good news. It's not strange to receive request just three days later. It means that they find you a strong candidate! I also got my request within days of submitting the app, had the interview, and got accepted. PM me if you want more details! Happy to share what questions were asked, etc.

They do it in rounds. A large number of people were invited to interview today to fill up remaining February times. It is perfectly normal and the amount of days you waited says little about your A/D it is a more positive sign that you were invited to interview. Good Luck!

I think they're backlogged. Admissions is always a mystery. It could be that they already admitted people with similar profiles and are looking to interview ppl who would add more "diversity" or it could mean so many other things.

Your numbers are strong for WUSTL so I wouldn't worry just yet. It's still jan/feb

I'm also surprised you haven't gotten a request yet, but then again it's still January. Does anyone have experience with WashU taking into account things other than numbers heavily?

I immediately got an interview request after going complete 1/6 (like within two days). Which I was kinda surprised about because I'm 75th GPA but 25th LSAT. I kind of have to wonder what they look at and if there's more than just numbers. I am from the STL area and have strong softs, but I was still surprised to get the request at all (guess I feel cynical?). I interviewed 1/25 and am interested in if i'll get waitlisted.

Got an email first, then a few days later got an almost identical letter. Neither had any mention of ASW. That came in an email a few weeks after acceptance.

Mine said "Your Scholar in Law Award is for the full tuition amount for three years of law school."

So your 150k is not exactly the same as the full-ride offer.
