It's making me anxious af. But what would giving up even mean at this point? Committing to another school under the assumption that you won't get NYU? That wouldn't be a good idea. But if giving up just means leving the status checker alone then go for it - you'll get an email/phone call about your decision anyway.

I went UR2 on 10/27 and still under review (no DLS). I presume by this point that that means w/l or ding?
