Read through the last few pages for more specifics. But yes, they said early February. Apparently, some people have recently been told early March. It's a mystery. No one knows and everyone is still waiting.
talked to a classmate at school yesterday who also was accepted and curious about scholarships; she was told by admiss office when she called they started emailing them out this week and would continue to do so until the end of the month. there you have it... scholarship are coming out

Hi all, checking in here. Any thoughts on chances? GPA slightly above median, LSAT median, engineering undergrad. I read somewhere they recently announced a new IP program.

Does anybody know how they think of international GPAs? I did well in undergrad, but my grade has been reported as "superior" even though I was consistently at the top of my class....

I would say you probably have a pretty good chance if you are at or above medians.

Superior sounds like a good thing, dude. Just relax and wait for the decision. You've been freaking out since you submitted. Chill out.

magjag was probably looking for "most-superiorest" though. more than 1 can be "superior".

This should be the new grading scale for all law school:

Most-superior-est
Superior-est

I propose 1 minor adjustment to this scale:

Chuck Norris
Most-superior-est
Superior-est
Very-Superior
Extra-Superior
Superior

"Aww man, I got an Extra Superior in CivPro. Looks like it's academic probation for me."

Sorry, magjag. I know you're nervous and excited about your decision, but everybody waits. I'm sure the good news will come soon.

ha. easy for you guys to say. A 4.0 is far far better than a 3.0 ? but the same grades with a non US degree will probably get the same LSAC grade-"superior".
It not fair, but I guess it is what it is

Don't worry too much about it, though. LSAC won't give you a GPA anyway; they'll just classify you as below average, average, above average, or superior. Unless there's a really big difference, your first year grades are unlikely to negatively affect which category you fall into.
There are no super-special-superiors in LSAC's mind.

And that is precisely my point. The evaluation standard is different as the reports are not granular enough.

So let me get this straight: You are complaining because LSAC assigned the highest mark possible to your undergrad transcript? You are upset about the foreign equivalent of a 4.0?

He's upset because other people with lesser grades get the same mark, and although he has the highest possible LSAC foreign designation, the schools won't know just how much better he is than those other half-brained slackers who just barely inched into his superior category.

Edit: but overall, yes, RB, I think you got it and your avatar is a perfect reaction

Why does it matter? They aren't going to look at your "superior" ranking and be like, "Ya know, I bet you this guy would technically have a 3.2 if it weren't for this superior ranking. So lets reject him."

....you are bugging everyone. And you're offending people with 3.2 GPA's. So shuttup.
