Sooooo it's negative in that we didn't get admitted after initial review...but good that we weren't outright denied? I can work with that, I was stuck on 12/5.

Also, just got an email from the Dean of Admissions: "I write to inform you that your application to Berkeley Law School has passed an initial administrative review and has been selected for further consideration by the Faculty Admissions Committee. The Committee will begin deliberation on your application on January xx. We anticipate a final decision will be reached on or around February xx."

Got fr too but am wondering why you think its a positive thing. Do we know what happened to fr applicants in previous cycles?

Don't think faculty review is a good thing. Only about 10% or less of those get accepted. But this is based on something I real awhile back, and I could be wrong
