Has anyone sent Hastings a LOCI? I just did but not sure if it's something they appreciate/accept. Saw nothing that said don't send one.

So I was advised by the admissions office that they are finishing up their decisions within the next couple of days and that all regular admissions decisions will be sent out within the next couple of days. From there they will move on to the waitlist. So congrats to everyone who has been admitted and good luck to those of us who are still waiting!

Denied
Though I can't say I'm surprised with my dismal Biology GPA.
Weighing my options between USF, McGeorge, Santa Clara and Lewis and Clark.
Send me a PM if anyone has some advice please! I have a strong interest in IP law.

I was leaning towards SC as well, but still contemplating USF. Thank you for your input.hiima3L wrote:Don't go to any of these schools, except maybe SC with $.piip2 wrote:Denied

USF is arguably not even worth it with a full ride. I would not suggest anyone go there if they want to work in private practice, much less IP.piip2 wrote:I was leaning towards SC as well, but still contemplating USF. USF would be fine (and a lot of fun) if they have family wealth/connections.hiima3L wrote:USF is arguably not even worth it with a full ride. If not, then yeah Santa Clara for the Bay, or McGeorge for Sac.

I just sent an email informing Hastings that I'm withdrawing.
I'll keep my fingers crossed that the spot and the money goes to you all that are waiting for a response!

Does that include WL decisions or just primary decisions?Ceasar wrote:FYI for anyone who is still impatiently waiting like myself: I just spoke with the admissions office and I was told all decisions will be sent by/before May 1. So another 6 days!!!

Just primary decisions....the waitlist will most likely go into the summer

FYI - I know of a few people last year who got in off the wait list in early June . . . with $$. Good things come to those who wait!Ceasar wrote:onionskin wrote:Does that include WL decisions or just primary decisions?Ceasar wrote:FYI for anyone who is still impatiently waiting like myself: I just spoke with the admissions office and I was told all decisions will be sent by/before May 1. If you don't mind working in Portland, L&C is not a bad option. Otherwise, I'd say go to Santa Clara.piip2 wrote:Denied

Re: UC Hastings c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
those options are brutal. SC does OK for IP, but go only if you get money. there is absolutely no way i'd go to any of those schools taking on any amount of debt.hiima3L wrote:USF is arguably not even worth it with a full ride. Hey! How is everyone?
I got an email stating that Hastings is "pleased to offer you a place on our waitlist for the fall 2013 entering class". BOOO...makes me wonder about that whole UC collusion debate you guys had... but hey, life's life. 161/3.34 with an engineering degree out of UCB for those wanting to compare.
