My status date never changed, though. I sent in 12/14, went "complete" on 12/20, but under mailings it has the email from yesterday. Glad to see I wasn't the only one, though (even though W&M is a long shot for me).

Out of the blue I received a flat rate envelope from W&M today - accepted with a 10K/year scholarship!

Didn't go complete until 12/28 or so and kinda thought this was my stretch school so am surprised and thrilled at such a quick reply.

161/3.8 - Maybe it was due to being prior military?

just got in via e-mail! my status checker date changed yesterday and i thought it was just them receiving my updated transcript but now it says that my acceptance package was mailed yesterday.

Dear W&M,

I really really like your school. With that in mind, I am writing to recommend that you dip a little lower in your LSAT pool. Just think of the diversity that a 161 can bring to your program! I can think of silly, stupid things to say in class that everyone else will already know. Wouldn't that be great?

i submitted my application beginning of november and i didn't get the application complete e-mail until last week but now i'm in only a week later. i think it's really hard to gauge W&M's timing since they're a non-rolling school. don't give up yet!

yeah if you look at their application acknowledgement e-mail it says in bold that they are not a rolling admissions school. that's why everyone's last status is complete/will send decision by april 1

Yeah, I'm assuming that unless you are autoadmit or close to it, you'll be with me waiting until March.

The order in which they review applications and make decision seems almost random. I was rather surprised to get a decision this week, meanwhile some people are waiting for months with no word.
