Just got admitted! Fantastic to know I have a great school this early in the process (I sent in my materials 11/8)

If you are curious, 3.75 GPA, 170 LSAT, did not write a "why Duke"

Yes, PT which is an awesome program considering it's non-binding

What's the deal?
They found your file so interesting, they had to read it twice!

Haha. I don't know... That would be a novel thought though. "Can't get enough of that one, gotta read it again!"
Haha you are too kind... But really my app was entirely too boring for any of that

Has anyone received a decision from Duke that wasn't PT?

At least three people who post here have been accepted RD. There don't seem to be that many non-reach RD applicants, so it should be no surprise the numbers are low - they'll probably want to wait on some of the reach applicants.

I applied 10/05 RD and haven't heard anything, but other people who applied later have, so I'm beginning to suspect they're just waiting to WL me.

Have you not gone under review yet? I'm a super reach, but I applied late October and went under review 11/7

Just got my Duke packet yesterday. Nice hand written note from the admissions dean and some mentions of my specific interests in the letter. Certainly makes me feel good for thanksgiving. :D

Congratulations! That really is amazing they emailed you on Thanksgiving. I'd feel bad if someone has to work there today.

Could you post your application submission and complete dates?

Did your status. He met ever move to under review or did it stay locked at complete?

LOL - autocorrect strikes again!

Since this is the day of good deals: is anyone willing to swap a Duke acceptance for one of MVP? I would do that deal in an instant - Duke is easily in my top 3. PM me to make the arrangements.

I didn't check status checker very often, but I'm 90% sure I went to "Under Review" 1-2 weeks ago.

Just got my decision email: priority reserve.

I was a bit surprised, since my numbers are comfortably over the school's medians - 173/3.76/2 years WE (Teach for America).

FWIW, I was accepted about 10 days ago, got my acceptance package today with a short, handwritten note from the Dean (I think, couldn't really make out the name). But I thought it was a nice touch.

I submitted early Nov. and was on priority track.

Numbers: >171/>3.8

Good luck to everyone else. It is still SUPER early for any acceptances if you submitted in November, but I'm glad I got such an awesome school so soon!

Wow. Can you think of any reason? Do you have some kind of criminal history? That's kind of frightening - I didn't think Duke YPs.

With those numbers, you should get at least a few t14 acceptances.

Wow, that is definitely a YP, unless Duke found some reason in your application.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
