All I know is, mine showed 0.00 before I was admitted and 500.00 like a day or so after

Hmmm. Interesting. I'd like to hear if any rejected people from previous cycles had the 0.00 appear on their status checker.

Well, I have it on mine, but have had it since I was complete. All of my other status chekcers have this as well, and I haven't heard anything yet. Really don't think it means anything at all.

Just got in with a call from dean Richardson. 135k scholarship!!!!! Sooooo excited!!! Will probably be in Charlottesville next year!!

Applied 10/4. Complete 10/5. Wrote a why UVA essentially about how I prefer being in the south. 172/4.0

I'm gonna say that everytime I get a call from an unknown number, my heart jumps a little. And I've been getting a lot of those lately due to a craigslist ad I have up.

I keep getting calls from my cable company, area code 757. I know 757 is southeast VA (C'ville is 434), but it still makes me jumpy every time I see it.

Mine literally has had $0.00 from day one and hasn't changed. I don't think it means anything until it changes to $500.00

Submitted my application yesterday!
One question I am hoping you guys can help me out with --
When did you get an email from UVA acknowledging that they got your application?
I submitted Duke and Penn right after UVA and got emails from both schools w/ status checker info, but nothing from UVA. I have checked my spam as well. Is this normal? What should I do?

Haha... just last Wednesday so I'm on day 8 of 15. I still just wan to prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

I submitted my UVA app on Nov. 2nd, same day as Georgetown and Duke. I've already gone complete at G-town and Duke, and haven't heard anything from UVA. I think the delay is normal, wouldn't worry about it too much yet.

EEEEEsh.... looking at LSN for yesterday, it seems like they were mostly rejections. One person said the rejection came via status checker and e-mail.

On a positive note, if we applied a in early October and have not been rejected yet... That could be a "glass half full situation"
