I just got an acceptance call and the scholar's day invite yesterday, so this is all kind of last minute, but what is everyone (well, girls) wearing on Friday? Is it business casual?

I am wearing black slacks, a White and Black striped short sleeved blouse, and black 2 inch, closed toe heels.

Edit: 7:30 at the DT lobby sounds good to me. I'm also down for drinks elsewhere after dinner.

Thanks, left Miami a little while ago, can't wait to see everyone. I'll be sure to take plenty of pictures, but I'm not posting them in the picture thread after all those southern California schools, FSU just can't compare lol.

I was going to wear a sundress too with a black short sleeved jacket over it. I have black pants but they're way too long. I also don't have any closed toed shoes that are appropriate nor do I have anything under 4" that isn't an open sandal. I wish they'd give guidelines, because the definitions of business and casual are so different.

I always have taken FLORIDA business casual as anything cute that doesnt show your hoo-ha and your boobs. I have some seriously businessy clothes from working at the law firms. Cute suits, both skirts and pants of all colors. Its just... merrrr....

Button down and slacks for me. But, I'm sure it is much harder for the ladies. If you guys decide on a place to get drinks after the restaurant, I may go. My wife does not get off until ~8, and naturally, she would like to go.

Don't know if anyone else is interested, and I know many are coming from out of town, but FSU plays its first Baseball game tomorrow at 4:00. I will probably go. The stadium is awesome.

That sounds fine to me. I take "business casual" to just mean no denim and no flip flops. Not sure yet what I'm wearing but it will probably be something like khakis and a nice top.

Also, my back seat can hold 2 more people comfortably besides me and her (3 if you're all relatively thin haha) so whoever wants them

Unless you go to somewhere on the strip, she's fine (the clubs are all 18 and up including The Irish Pub)
Ken's and Bulls are def 21+. Poor Pauls might be 21 and up too, but not sure

101 is less than a black from the Double Tree; so, I doubt anyone would need/ want to drive to it. If everyone is meeting at the hotel at 7:30, I could probably make it to 101 ~8:30. How many people have checked in?
