Pitt has both as well, and they're only within a block or so of each other.
I'm originally from Texas and I'm looking at law schools in Boston, NY, Philly, and of course Pittsburgh.
I have a feeling my Mexican food addiction may end up killing me wherever I go.

What about Moe's? It's better than Qdoba and Chipotle. We have them in New Jersey and I saw one in North Carolina.

I live in NC and there are Moe's' all over the Triangle - and they are much, much better than Q'Doba (ugh) and Chipotle.
Still UR as of 12/8. Come on, Pitt! Driving me insane!

Can we talk about the Dean's Scholarship? Pitt is pretty much my top choice, but I need them to give me money to justify going there. I think their reqs for auto scholly are 3.4 and 161. How should splitters (like myself) expect to fair as far as money goes?

yeah, I think barbie got it with a lower gpa, but she didn't post her stats. I have a decent LSAT, but its not phenomenal. I am just kind of sweating about scholarships because Im pretty sure I would get in atleast. Knock on wood.

I believe from seeing her on other threads she is 163, 3.3. I have 161, 3.17 and got nothing from the school.

I was one of the ones put on the scholarship waitlist with a 162, 3.36. With a 166 I think you're probably in a better position to receive something

They just spread the love. They know they won't hang on to the tipty top vs other schools so the focus on providing the midrange a reason to go. Just strategy.

Quick question about the Dean's Scholarship...I went under review on Dec 8th and haven't heard any decision yet. I'm a 3.6/163, so I was hoping to get about 14,000 from the scholarship, but I'm not sure I will be getting it now that it is 2/1 and I have not heard anything from Pitt. Am I still under consideration for the scholarship? I figured applying 2 months earlier than the deadline would give me plenty of time.
Thanks

Haha hate to say it, but I think everybody would rather talk about their favorite fast food at this point... I'm in the same boat as you... I've visited Pitt, love the city (except for their sports teams lol), know people who are there and love it, and would love to be a panther myself, but there's not much we can do but sit back and wait until they get their act together...got a feeling a lot of us are gonna be on the "scholarship waitlist", and again, I've got a sneaky feeling that they did that intentionally... oh well. Good luck!
