Michigan is my dream reach and I'm a 168/3.44... this gives me a slight amount of hope! SUPER congrats!

Don't stop hoping!! I've read so much about the admissions process and Dean Z and I really do believe that Michigan's admissions process is actually holistic! I was feeling super discouraged for a long time because my numbers just didn't look too great on LSP and looking at class medians, etc... but if you're meant to be at Michigan, they'll get you!!! Hopefully see you in AA next year!

Ha, no, which is why I avoided using "believing" in my post to krad.

and barcelo... it's not THAT bad. And if I recall correctly, AA was up and running a day after Snowpocalypse 2011, whereas Chicago was out of commission in varying degrees for at least a week or two...

Thats right, the University was still open. I didn't have even one class cancelled.

Yahooooo! In at GW a day after being mercilessly dinged by BU! I know this isn't necessarily a reach with my numbers (165, 2 superior foreign transcripts) but it sure feels awesome and I wanted to let the world know... take that BU!

Also, if you respond to anybody trying to debate that person making such references, you could possibly be in for a ban as well. Because every single "lol +1, that guy's just being a hater, this thread isn't supposed to be about URM debates" just drags it out even more.
