Yes. You are still in the game and I am sure a few people with crazy numbers get in every year. Good luck.kurtvonnegut wrote:Hey, I went complete two weeks ago, with a 155 LSAT & 3.6 GPA — I'm "still in the game"lawschool22 wrote:Estimating around 625 JS2s gone, so roughly 225 remaining. But to put it in perspective I also estimate they have made around 3,500 decisions. So if you're still alive, you are still in the game.sup_stan wrote:Time to abandon my delusion.
Here's hoping I can make it before my birthday in mid-March.
Can LS22 or any of my fellow 1.5s make an estimate of how many offers are left after today's wave? Divide that by the estimated number of batches till April should give me a pretty good idea of what my expectation should be. I heard the March wave will be a look-back wave though. Man I dont even know what im talking about right now.

You went complete in the middle of peak application season, with great numbers, and you're worried that you haven't gotten a JS1 yet? Relax. If you're a strong candidate who applied before the deadline, I'm sure there is always room.hellomellow wrote:Hello! Congrats to all the new admits! You should all be so proud of yourself... HARVARD LAW... HAAAAARRRVAAAAAARD LAW WANTS YOU!!!!!!!!!!
Now.... I applied early January and went complete on the 31st.. should I be worried that I haven't heard back for a JS1 yet when spots are being filled so quickly *trying not to panic* 172/3.98 ^.^

Thanks for the info. Yes, I suspected as much, I was just trying to give as much info as possible for freaking-out applicants. A lot of people have been worried about their interviews, so adding that mine went so-so and I still got in.malleus discentium wrote:She told me this too. I get the impression that it is not a unique thing to be told, but it is also not a lie.IrishJew wrote:¡ Today !
I just got the call 5 minutes ago from JS herself. Sounded like an idiot I am sure.
I DO NOT fit the pattern of admits so far:
Applied early Nov; Interview early Dec.
SPLITTER: Great LSAT (>>75) ; <<<<25 GPA (with strong addendum and some grad work); good softs.
Also, I didn't think my interview was so great, but JS Mentioned that "X really enjoyed your conversation." Not sure if everyone gets that, but take it as you will.
I love TLS for all the info and support, good luck those of you still waiting! Don't give up hope.
Congrats to you and everyone else!
Did all admits get told the line about enjoying the interview? Does it mean anything at all? Or is it just a "thank you for flying Delta"?

As above posters mentioned. However some purists seem to not like it because JS isn't actually doing anything. IIR ls22 said at one point "what the hell is this JS1.5 business everyone's talking about"cesium wrote:Forgive my ignorance, but what is "JS1.5"?

rename it JS square root of -1 because it is irrational and goes on forever?IrishJew wrote:As above posters mentioned. ETA-whoa, wait...that's imaginary not irrational. it's been a while since 8th grade algebra, erudition fail.

Y'all will love Judge Easterbrook:
(Cont'l Can Co., Inc. v. Chicago Truck Drivers)“Substantially all” sounds like “less than all, but not much less”. Arbitrators and courts must convert this phrase to a percentage in order to make it work, which raises the question why Congress did not enact a percentage in the first place. It is as easy to write “a majority” or “two thirds” or “three quarters” or 85% or e−0.162 as it is to write “substantially all”—and any of the former choices would have prevented disputes of this kind. Perhaps, however, “substantially all” is an attractive standard because it enables Members of Congress to say different things to different interest groups.

Yeah i is imaginary, not irrational. Let's go with JSπ, JSe, or my personal favorite JSφ, where φ is the golden ratio and is equal to (1+√5)/2 ≈ 1.618, which is between 1 and 2!EquallyWrong wrote:rename it JS square root of -1 because it is irrational and goes on forever?IrishJew wrote:As above posters mentioned. Strange, I had a dream I got a JS1 last night as well. Fingers crossed!NoDayButToday wrote:So...anyone remember the earlier discussion about prophetic dreaming? How I dreamed I'd get bad news from Penn and then was rejected a few days later? Well, last night I dreamed I'll hear good things from Harvard
Granted, still waiting on that JS1.

I too have had happy HLS dreams. But then again, last night I dreamed that Michael Jackson was my stepdad, so not quite sure how reliable my dreams are these days.Quest4Knowledge wrote:Strange, I had a dream I got a JS1 last night as well. Headed for a month now, no JS1. I'm thinking that my app is being held until the Feb LSAT takers start sending in apps.
