That's crazy...who at Ohio Northern thought this was a good idea? I don't even donate to my alma mater.

I am all for making one. As long as it is not a super long post about how #blessed you are I think it is fine. Just a quick update on where you are moving to/choosing for your friends.

I just did one of those "Will Start at [Law School]" updates that shows up on people's walls. Seems sufficient for a general update. If you do make a post though, I challenge you not to use the word "announce."

Despite not being a facebook friend collector, I prefer to keep my business mostly to myself. I'll change my current location when I make the move and that's about it.

This is the only time I will get to use either of those words/hashtags though. It's all I was looking forward to about the process

I'm def using that exact line and bolding it.

But actually was thinking of saying something like "asked ESPN for a 75 minute special on my decision but that fell through" but pretty sure that joke is dated AF

Hey y'all ... Is anyone else still waiting on a decision? I have NINE decisions pending! Ok, yeah, I applied late (took the Feb LSAT), and I'm obviously expecting a ding (or hopefully a WL), but for some reason many schools keep holding on to my app... I just need closure guys, is that too much to ask?!
Any other late applicants share the same feeling?

I think two options are least annoying - have a friend make a post for you (very common in my circles) or do the updates life event on your timeline.

Definitely will make my SO do this, but I will construct it word for word to feed my ego while appearing like a humble person.

I will even add pictures.

Fuck it dude. I don't post any personal information on social media ever. I use it basically to keep in touch with friends that I don't live around anymore. I decided that law school acceptances is the only time I'll make a humble brag to all of those people that don't matter. It also will save me the effort from having to individually tell my extended family. I vote to sell it hard.
Attention plebeians, I am here to humbly announce that I scored in the 99th percentile on my LSAT and will be attending the 4th rated school in the country as I was lucky enough to be one of their 11% accepted applicants. All of you that studied for the LSAT for about a week, and ended up in the 140-150 range and think you are chasing a rewarding career by attending the local community college at night can hit me up when you realize you'll be drowning in debt for the rest of your life. Sincerely, Ca$h Money
