Hannah, if you're considering coming is this doable for you? I don't want to starve you to death and I assume you follow some sort of kashrut

<3 breakfast foods. I have no idea what time... any suggestions? I may just stake myself out there as my flight gets in at like 8am.hannah87 wrote: what time? i wasn't planning to go to the optional AM events. i eat dairy at regular restaurants, so a diner would be fine (and i am very partial to breakfast foods, in general)!

Re: Cardozo 2010
I looked it up... my flight gets into jfk at 7:44, so depending on how fast I can get in from Brooklyn (I think it's gonna take like an hour and a half. meh), I'll probably get in around 9:15.
It's about a 10 minute walk from the diner to Cardozo, and we're supposed to be at the school by 9:45 to register like they ask in the email. So... how long does it take to eat =/ I'd say we could do it after instead but we'll be full and also I have to get on the train around 7... Ok. either we eat quick, or you go without poor little Sibley.

Just opened up my little mylar acceptance packet again to read up (website doesn't really have any info, despite being pretty). It smells nice, and they used a cool paper clip. <3 them.

Re: Cardozo 2010
I know I'm spamming this thread... sorry.
Just emailed the deans, admitted students, and financial aid re: getting an increase in scholarship. mentioned that I stopped by last weekend and liked it and will probably attend if 1) I'm again as impressed as I was last weekend on the 18th, and 2) they help out with finances a little more. I'd actually prefer a partial scholly and a living stipend, since I get TAP and maybe a little something from fafsa...

C'mon Cardozo... I'd really like to know what I'm doing in May, so I can plan the next 6 months. You know we'd be great together. Why keep me waiting?

I only submitted my applications after the Feb. LSAT results came out, so I can't start poking them for a while yet. All I can do is sit here hitting refresh on the status checker for a few more weeks. They shouldn't give out access to those status checkers to people like me.sibley wrote:badpixie wrote:C'mon Cardozo... I'd really like to know what I'm doing in May, so I can plan the next 6 months. =( the dean said he won't up the scholarship amount, and that last year there was no extra money after students withdrew. Maybe Financial Aid will have a different idea.

So it looks like Cardozo's selectivity has gone down...according to the profile here it was higher in 2007 than the 2010 reports... what do y'all think? =/ I was under the impression that they'd be improving...

No, it's comparing to the school rankings on this site. Maybe Cardozo has different ones on their site?
edit:
yep. How the heck are we supposed to judge anything? And where does US News get their numbers?

So I'm anxiously awaiting to hear back from Cardozo (my number one choice right now!), they've had my application for six weeks, and I was wondering how long it took others to hear back from them? And if I should be worried...Thanks!

It took me about that long, maybe a week or two longer.csiobhanc wrote:So I'm anxiously awaiting to hear back from Cardozo (my number one choice right now!), they've had my application for six weeks, and I was wondering how long it took others to hear back from them? I'm pretty sure 07 USNWR rankings didn't include PT data and last year's did. That may account for lower overall #s.sibley wrote:So it looks like Cardozo's selectivity has gone down...according to the profile here it was higher in 2007 than the 2010 reports... what do y'all think? =/ I was under the impression that they'd be improving...

that could do it.
I need stats. They are unavailable. It stinks.

we have a winner! so if you really want to see if they have improved, compare the current full time data versus the 07 data, let us know how it turns out! i'm too lazy to do it myself

161/166
3.39/3.75
US News' (overall?) stats:
159/165
3.29/3.72
I have no idea what that means.

Are the Cardozo #s the 09 entering class? Because if so, that data will appear in the 2010 USNWR and shows an upward trend.sibley wrote:Per LSN for 2007:
