This is a reach for me, for sure, but a URM, so I am definitely leaning towards the worst case scenario haha, it is very difficult not to!billyez wrote:This isn't the Vandy thread - there's no proof in favor of a consensus batch, in fact last cycle strongly suggests that this is a acceptance batch since there were no WL's until March.
In other words, if by consensus you mean a bunch of folks are stressing over the worst case scenario, then yes, there's a "consensus."

Not at all.
Historically, denial / WL's are handed out in March.
And it seems like a good deal of the people are at least somewhat in line, numbers-wise.

I got my W&L decision today... waitlist. Kind of lame considering I got into WM almost immediately.

Did everyone who got WL'ed have the 1/14 status or that strange change to 1/15 status on the checker?

Rejections are popping up on LSN now. So this is a WL/rejection pile. No consensus.

I forgot about MLK day, probably going to be a long wait. I bet that 1/14's are X decisions and 1/15's are Y decisions. It'd be nice to figure out if X's are WL's or denies. Any help anyone?

DR, and mailed 1/15. LSAT above 75%, GPA above median. Complete 12/15. Hope this helps in finding a pattern.

DR 1/14, but my mailing says 1/13, nothing in the mail today though. Am I out? That would be really sad! I'm gonna go cry now till Tuesday...

I apologize if this has been discussed already, but does anyone know when W&L is planning on handing out scholarship info?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Waitlisted 1/13, expected but kinda hurts since W&L was my top choice for much of my cycle up until recently. Kinda surprised since I thought I'd written a fantastic essay geared directly toward how much I loved W&L.
