For some reason I don't have high hopes for my chances at BU. All this getting passed over, I feel like the last kid picked in gym class dodgeball.

Then how come this 168 didn't get a call?NancyBotwin wrote:Hmmm, well, according to LSN, most of the calls today seem to be going to 167s.

I just looked at last year's info on LSN, and it seems as though we (splitters) are likely to be waitlisted, but not until February or so. Sigh.NancyBotwin wrote:Dunno.finalaspects wrote:where is our splitter love?!?!?NancyBotwin wrote:Hmmm, well, according to LSN, most of the calls today seem to be going to 167s.

Based on the past 3 years I was supposed to be waitlisted. But I was accepted on 12/10 i think or 12/9 last week...Wednesday...it was a hectic week. i'm on LSN. so don't lose hope.NancyBotwin wrote:I just looked at last year's info on LSN, and it seems as though we (splitters) are likely to be waitlisted, but not until February or so. I would pretty much give anything to get that call...too bad I am below the LSAT median. I am just hoping my high GPA will help.
I just want to know either way...ugh.

Got the call earlier today! In with a 166, 3.7, Non-URM. I sent in my app on November 16th. I hadn't heard anything from them, so I called two weeks later and they said I was complete. Good luck to everyone!

Re: BU! woot.
we can only hope that they try to increase their LSAT medians, 25 and 75 and all so that they dip under their GPA. Perfect year to do so with the increased amount of applicants as most other schools seem to be doing the same thing.NancyBotwin wrote:I just looked at last year's info on LSN, and it seems as though we (splitters) are likely to be waitlisted, but not until February or so. I am sure this was discussed earlier, but that are too many pages to sift through, while I am supposed to be studying for finals. When do people get their financial aid offers? I noticed just a couple of people on LSN had scholarships listed. Does it come with the admissions package or later?

I just got a scholarship offer for 30,000/yr, renewable each year. It came via snail mail 2 weeks after my acceptance letter. Hope that helps!amandap wrote:I am sure this was discussed earlier, but that are too many pages to sift through, while I am supposed to be studying for finals. First off that's good to hear, since my numbers are slightly higher than yours and I got my acceptance last week.roxj wrote:I just got a scholarship offer for 30,000/yr, renewable each year. Not trying to be glib, but I don't think there is a bigger soft than being an URM (perhaps other than doing something worthy of national headlines).roxj wrote:I am a URM, but have hope anyways! How long does it take to get your acceptance packet after your phone call? I'm out here in California and I got the call last Wednesday. They said they'd ship it on Thursday...

Is there a GPA requirement to renew the scholarship?roxj wrote:I just got a scholarship offer for 30,000/yr, renewable each year. It came via snail mail 2 weeks after my acceptance letter.
